Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the LaneCaddie app and the lanecaddie.com website, provided by Quack Quack Labs LLC ("we," "us"). By downloading or using LaneCaddie, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use LaneCaddie on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Acceptable use

  • Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
  • Don't use LaneCaddie to violate any law or any venue's rules.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt or circumvent the app's security or subscription controls.

3. Subscriptions, trials & billing

  • Tiers. LaneCaddie offers a free tier and paid tiers — Base, Motion, and (coming) Camera — billed monthly or annually.
  • Free trial. Each paid tier includes a 14-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews at the listed price.
  • Billing & renewal. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancellation. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • No Family Sharing. Subscriptions are per-account and are not shared via Apple Family Sharing.
  • Price changes. We may change prices prospectively; Apple will notify you as required before a renewal at a new price.

4. Data & accuracy

LaneCaddie's shot detection and motion metrics are estimates derived from sensor data and are provided for informational and training purposes. They may not be perfectly accurate and should not be relied on for officiated scoring.

5. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

LaneCaddie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quack Quack Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll revise the "last updated" date accordingly.
